The Buckmore Junior Club offers competitive sprint racing for junior kart drivers.
Using our fleet of Junior Sodikarts powered by 160cc Honda four stroke engines, the junior club members are assured of equal and very competitive racing.
Each race meeting comprises of a short practice session for every driver which is followed by three points scoring heats for each driver to determine grid positions for the finals.
All drivers will compete in one of up to five finals. The winner of each of the lower finals will achieve promotion to the back row of the next final.
Superb trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in the A final. The top drivers in the series will be awarded superb trophies at the Annual Awards Evening.
This is a championship of seven rounds of which the best five scores will count towards the championship. One off entries are always welcome.
No licence of any kind is required and all equipment is provided including kart and race-wear.
All drivers must have completed at least an introductory lesson at the Sisley Kart School to ensure they are safe to compete.
All drivers must join the Buckmore Junior Club for which there is an annual fee of £20
Itinerary
08:00 Arrival, sign on and suit up
08:30 Safety briefing (parents very welcome)
09:00-12:45 Practice, 3 heats for each driver and a final for each driver.
13:00 Presentation follows a parents race! Ask for details, all over 16yrs welcome.

Please note: Drivers need no licence to compete, but should have some experience of karting before racing. This series is for drivers aged 8 — 13. (Older drivers have their own series). All drivers must be members of the Buckmore Park Junior Club (membership £20 per season). Race entries must be booked in advance and full payment is required on booking. One-off race entries are very welcome. Minimum height requirement is 4'2". Drivers must have some kart experience though not necessarily in a race format. The Sisley Kart School Introductory sessions are an ideal minimum.
