The Sport 1200 Sprint

For those who have a little more experience, maybe through the Buckmore 600 or Pro 1200 events, this is the sprint series for you.


This series also has two categories, light and heavy, so if you are a 'fuller figured' driver you aren't at a disadvantage to the 'twiglets'. The Sport 1200 also uses the more powerful Sport mode karts.

This is a 2 star event for drivers with some experience.

 

Sport 1200 Sprint Championship

Summer 2010 Series

6 rounds (best 5 count) for individuals

This is a six round championship in which only the best five scores will count towards the championship. It is run in two weight categories to ensure a level playing field, though both weight classes race together, the points are separated out and class finals are held. We welcome one off entries as each race is also a stand alone event with trophies to the top three in each weight category. This two star series is an ideal next step up from the Buckmore 600 and Pro 1200 1* formats. The format is practice followed by a series of point scoring heats in which each driver will race three times. The resultant points then decide the grid for the finals. The top sixteen in each weight class will progress to the finals. The weight classes are: Under 85kg = Light. Over 85kg = Heavy. Following the racing there is a presentation and post event Club Bar
Cost per round: £85.00 per Light (below 85kg), £85.00 per Heavy (over 85kg).
