The Summer Iron Man series is a 3* Championship series of eight rounds. A driver's best six scores count towards the Championship. This series is for experienced drivers with stamina. It is not necessary to compete in all rounds, one off entries are very welcome. Be aware that this series traditionally sells out very fast and drivers wishing to compete in the whole Championship should book early to avoid disappointment.
The Solo 60 runs from November to February and is a non-championship series of events. The format is exactly the same as the Iron Man. For those seeking a winter 1hr Championship, see Man of Steel (left).
Date: Sunday, 12th August 2012.
Time: 5:15pm to 8:00pm.
Cost: £115 per RX 390.
The 3* Iron Man One Hour Endurance is a one man, one hour test of stamina for fit and experienced drivers.
A 10 minute qualifying session is followed by a straight one hour dash to the final flag.
Trophies to top three finishers at each round and superb series trophies.
Ideal for drivers who are fit and have experience of outdoor kart racing. This is an 8 round Championship of which the best 6 results will count.
One off entries more than welcome, there is no need to commit to the whole series.
