Will you be the F1 GP Champion of 2014?

Emulate five of the most exciting F1 Grands Prix of the year at Buckmore! For six of this season's F1 races we have arranged a rather special race day.

Watch the Grand Prix with fellow petrol-heads in the Surtees Suite on our big screen whilst enjoying a buffet meal. After* the race pop on your race gear and prepare to replicate the race (minus any crashes we hope).

Qualifying will be F1 style with Q1, Q2 and Q3 deciding the final order. The race will then mimic the number of laps of that days F1 Grand Prix (or the maximum time in the case of wet weather or other delays)

At the end of the season the driver who has accrued the most points will be the 2014 F1 Grand Prix Special Champion. A superb trophy will be awarded at the Annual Prizegiving in February 2015.

* For some races this will be before due to the televised times of the F1 races.

Buckmore F1 Austrian Grand Prix Special

Emulate the same number of laps as this iconic race then sit back with your fellow petrol-heads and watch how the professionals do it!

The Austria Formula 1 race will be shown on our big screen in the Surtees hospitality suite. A specially prepared buffet and club bar will make for a relax atmosphere.

Qualifying for the karting will be F1 style with Q1, Q2 and Q3 deciding the final order. The race will then mimic the number of laps of the F1 GP.

The races will be over the number of laps stated, or by the maximum time, whichever comes first.

This round is a 69 laps (tbc) or 75 minute race.

What is more, the top point scoring driver across all five Buckmore GP Specials will be crowned GP Drivers Champion and will be awarded a very special trophy. As per the 2014 F1 rules, we will be awarding double points for the last round (12th October)!

Note: Whilst scores will be awarded and totalled to decide who will be crowned GP Champion, all races are stand alone events and one-off entries will be more than welcome.
