Will you be the F1 GP Champion of 2013?
Emulate five of the most exciting F1 Grands Prix of the year at Buckmore! For the Spanish, Canadian*, British, Indian and Brazilian* races we have arranged a rather special race day.
Watch the Grand Prix with fellow petrol-heads in the Surtees Suite on our big screen whilst enjoying a buffet meal. After* the race pop on your race gear and prepare to replicate the race (minus any crashes we hope).
Qualifying will be F1 style with Q1, Q2 and Q3 deciding the final order. The race will then mimic the number of laps of that days F1 Grand Prix (or the maximum time in the case of wet weather or other delays)
At the end of the season the driver who has accrued the most points will be the 2013 F1 Grand Prix Special Champion. A superb trophy will be awarded at the Annual Prizegiving in February 2014.
* As these races take place later in the day the order will be reversed. You will enjoy the kart race first, then settle down to watch the F1 action and enjoy your meal. The bonus with this is that the Club Bar will be open for these two events.

Buckmore F1 Canadian Grand Prix Special

Qualifying will be F1 style with Q1, Q2 and Q3 deciding the final order. The race will then mimic the number of laps of the F1 GP.
The races will be over the number of laps stated, or by the maximum time, whichever comes first.
* As the Canadian and Brazilian Grands Prix are later in the day, you will enjoy the karting event first and then relax afterwards by watching the action with a meal. For these two races we can of course open the club bar so that you can also enjoy a drink while you watch!
This round is a 70 lap or 75 minute race.
What is more, the top point scoring driver across all five Buckmore GP Specials will be crowned GP Drivers Champion and will be awarded a very special trophy.
Note: Whilst scores will be awarded and totalled to decide who will be crowned GP Champion, all races are stand alone events and one-off entries will be more than welcome.

15:30 3 x Qualifying sessions start
16:15 Race starts (70 laps or 75 minutes)
17:30 Chequered Flag
17:45 Presentation and club bar.
18:00 Watch F1 Canadian GP on TV with a buffet meal. (Bar open)

Please note: All drivers must be at least 16*. All places must be booked and paid for in advance. This is a two star event which is suitable for drivers with limited experience as well as more regular drivers.
*Drivers aged 14-16 who hold a current MSA Kart Race Licence may also race provided that the licence is shown at sign in and a parent/guardian is present.
