A welcome from the Managing Director

Buckmore Park Kart Circuit is a family run business celebrating its 46th birthday this year. We are the most successful and busiest kart circuit in the UK — if not Europe — and our staff (nearly 50 of us) are passionate about what we do and what we offer our customers. Our three keys words have always been: Quality, Professionalism and Enjoyment.

Last year was our best yet, with thousands of drivers and exclusive groups being entertained. Most of our customers are regular visitors to Buckmore, many coming on a monthly or even weekly basis. Nothing pleases us more than looking at the smiling face of a four year old who has just sat in a kart for the first time, or sharing the emotion as one of our regular enthusiasts or corporate guests takes the chequered flag for the first time.

Our management team has been together for many years, and I believe it's the experience we share in all forms of motorsport and corporate hospitality that makes Buckmore so successful — we never stand still and we innovate constantly. The customer has always been king here and we have invested over £5m in the last few years to ensure that we have the facilities to prove that fact.

I have been in this business since I left school at 18, and my family have always been involved in motorsports and karting. My father raced karts in the late 50's and early 60's, and I followed in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. My son Tom, who is nearing 30, was the third generation of Sisleys to race and is also the most successful, being a multi British champion in Junior and Senior karting, as well as in single-seater racing cars in the 90's and early 2000's. I am sure that my grandchildren will follow soon in a few years time!
