NIGHT RACING CHALLENGE

The Night Racing challenge at Buckmore Park continues this year in January & February.

To enter, you just need to take part in a 30 Minute Adult Practice Session, driving under the track lights. We will take the top 16 fastest drivers forward to the Night Racing Final in March.

HOW TO ENTER

Qualifying sessions run on most days throughout January & February. The eligible sessions are labelled as night racing on our booking page.

We record every lap time completed, and the top 16 best drivers times are put through to the Final in March at no extra cost.
We also select 2 "Wildcard" entries to join the grid for the Final.

A 45 Minute GP, will decide the overall winner of the Night Racing Competition

FAQ

What sessions are eligible?
Any 30 minute Adult Practice session in January & February, labelled as "30 Minute Night Karting Session".

When does the Final take place?
The Night Racing Challenge Final takes place on the evening of the 13th March 2025.

How will I know if I'm in the Final?
The top 16 drivers with the best lap times from all sessions, will be invited by email or phone once all the qualifying sessions have been completed.
We will also contact the two Wildcard entries to let them know they have been selected.

What type of event is the Final?
The Final race in March will be a 45 minute individual GP, preceded by a 10 minute practice / qualifying session to set the grid for the race start.

How are the Wildcard entries chosen?
The wildcard entries will be chosen by the team at Buckmore, and based off what they witness in each of the sessions. For example, it could be that they spot a driver who is obviously talented, but held back by the track conditions on the day.


Will there be trophies for the winners?
Yes, the top 3 finishers in the final will be awarded special trophies showing their finishing position

Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, as with any of our adult practice sessions, The minimum age to take part is 16 (16 & 17 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 plus). Drivers do not need a driving licence or any previous driving experience. The minimum height to safely operate our karts is 5ft (152cm) and the maximum height is 6’4” (195cm).

How many times can I enter?
There is no limit to the amount of qualifying sessions you can take part in. We will record all of your times from each session and your best will be put into the leaderboard.
